We recognise the importance of engineering monitoring for plant inspection and equipment on a regular basis and offer a range of best practice techniques. These include vibration analysis, thermographic analysis and wind turbine generator inspection. Full support is available when faults are identified, saving time and resources. The high level of advice we offer at analysis stage combined our back-up service makes us unique in our market.
Our vibration technicians are qualified to an internationally recognised standard. They measure vibrations from rotating equipment to determine if there is a fault, and the severity of the fault. Vibration analysis should be carried out on a regular basis, enabling machines to be withdrawn prior to failure.
Thermographic analysis is typically used to monitor electric panels and other control equipment. This well-established technology has been around for over 30 years and identifies faults and poor connections via heat detection. As with all inspection and monitoring services, full reports are provided by e-mail or via our cloud-based platform.
Our electrically qualified wind turbine engineers are trained to wind industry approved standards for climbing wind turbines. Fully detailed inspections test windings, thermistors, electrical insulation, and other items dependent on the generator model. Inspections can form part of a benchmarking tool for individual generators and to identify anomalies within windfarm fleets.
They are good on vibration analysis, and reports are prompt. If there are any alerts, they come to see us and give us options to prolong the life of our equipment.”
