With over 60 years’ experience in transformer manufacture, RJW has the facilities, skills and expertise to design and manufacture standard or bespoke transformers ranging from less than 1 kVA up to 250kVA.

We design and manufacture a wide range of transformers from small control panel units through to flameproof power transformers.

We also have a great deal of experience within industrial single phase and three phase transformers manufacture a well auto transformers, inductors and DC power supplies.

Our workshops are equipped with a wide variety of winding machines and maintain stocks of popular laminations and bobbins to carry out the wide range of transformers available as well as enable a short lead time where required. We also maintain an excellent supply network which gives us access to the right materials at short notice.

All transformers are fully tested at rated voltage and load testing / heat runs can be performed where requested. Full test certificates detailing temperature rise, and reactance readings are available.

A range of transformer enclosures are available from off the shelf kits through to fabricated items designed specifically for the application and offering improved ingress protection and mounting arrangements.

RJW are also able to provide a range of services around the transformer manufacture itself, including incorporating the transformer within a control system, the installation on site or repairs and maintenance when required.
