Our end-to-end energy saving service ranges from a site audit and savings evaluation to panel design and specification, building, installation, and commissioning. We supply energy saving products from some of the biggest names in the industry and particularly around IE3 and IE4 energy efficient motors and inverters.
We have the expertise to take an entire control panel project from concept to completion – including writing software, or we can carry out any stage in isolation. Where a control panel is already in place, we can assist in its modernisation and refurbishment to improve efficiencies and performance.
Often motors are required to meet specific criteria such as performance, size or environmental use. These require bespoke design and manufacture. RJW has over 25 years’ experience in the manufacture of specialist motor, pump and generator assemblies. Our capability extends from prototype design to large production runs, along with automated coil winding and insertion.
Our engineering experts work closely with designers and manufacturers to build prototype units. We can also advise on wire and insulation systems and help to build and wind units to ease manufacture in a production environment. Extensive prototype testing and scale up capability is available where required.
From transformers for use in panels, to stand-alone transformers for larger, more complex applications, we have extensive design and manufacturing capability. We also manufacture single and 3 phase autotransformers, inductors and DC power supplies and hold large stocks of laminations, bobbins, cases, and other time critical components. Full test facilities including heat runs / load tests.
Often a cost-effective alternative to having a new panel manufactured, or when a new panel isn’t the best solution. Our engineers always take the time to understand customers’ requirements and undertake work in our workshops or on site. Control panel retrofit prevents obsolescence of components – inverters, PLC’s, and other control equipment.
We can handle all aspects of contract winding, from design through to production, with the capacity to supply thousands of units per year. We work with a range of industries including wind, hybrid automotive, mining and shipping. Our facilities support stator and armature core bonding, coil manufacture and winding, shaft manufacture, and dynamic balancing.
Servo motors are used in a wide range of applications, including CNC machines as well as robotics and a wide range of other industrial automation requirements where accurate control is required. The construction of these units, with permanent magnet elements as well as intricate feedback devices means that servo motor repair demands are very different to those for standard AC motors.
