Highlights

Maintenance Consultation Services

Whether it is to start a maintenance strategy from scratch or to assist in solving a persistent problem with a particular piece of equipment, our consultants are experienced in providing solutions for a wide variety of businesses and plant types. When combined with our other repair and maintenance services, this allows us to provide you with a complete solution from planning right through to execution, with all the facilities provided in-house.

On-site services

With over 100 engineers trained in a variety of disciplines, we have both the depth and variety of personnel to support your maintenance requirements. Our on-site services include advanced predictive maintenance services, dynamic balancing and the installation of fixed monitoring systems. We can provide a complete service, or provide additional support to an existing maintenance team.

Repair services

Our extensive in-house repair facilities are available 24 hours a day and provide expert and efficient backup for our on-site and consultancy work. Please check out our Electrical, Mechanical and Electronic repairs pages for more details.

Condition Monitoring Program

As part of a customised Condition Monitoring Program (CMP) we will come to your site every month to conduct a detailed analysis of key rotating machinery. Information is collected and downloaded to a workshop computer, where it is analysed and used to generate a comprehensive report. A 'traffic light' system is used to indicate the relative urgency of any problems found.

Thermographic Analysis

Using a heat-sensitive camera, we are able to detect when a component is over-heating, and thus catch problems at an early stage. Thermographic images are captured and downloaded to a computer for analysis. We then provide you with a full written report including recommendations for correcting any problems that are detected.

Vibration Analysis

Using vibration transducers and a data collector we are able to monitor both the frequency and magnitude of vibrations in rotating machinery. By analysing the collected data, and particularly by building up a picture of the data over time, we can flag up problems before they become critical. This type of predictive maintenance is particularly effective if carried out at regular intervals, often monthly.
